Educational cards under the busy.cards name are given labels – to distinguish the various types of card that are available. All cards bearing the same name are of a similar – physical – type. The names have been chosen for convenience, and are not related to the subject matter on the cards.

Why have they been printed?

All the 'River Cards' from the busy.cards range are intended as aids for adults – particularly those involved in chatting to their young at home after school. We provide examples to expand on this. Since the cards are likely to be involved with youngsters and games, we have considered and met the requirements such that UKCA and CE marks apply.

How are the cards available?

Lyd cards are available – either by collection or by mail-order – 'by the each', or in appropriate sets. Details of this are explained.

The river Lyd cards are normally sold in small sets. We are prepared to replace lost or damaged cards: this service is free of charge, for small quantity and on a collect or postage prepaid basis.

Subsidized or sample copies are sometimes available – after initial discussion with worthy recipients.

Busy Cards are produced to as high a quality – of content and material – as possible.

The concept, design, and print is undertaken – with a view to economy and efficiency – by a small team of experienced teachers and related professionals, who give their services witout charge. The registered trade mark names of busy.cards® and busybusydotco® are there to protect this small enterprise. It is a private-not-for-profit organization. Initial funds are from voluntary contributions. Excess funds are used for future development. Donations are always put to good use.
